Frequently asked questions
Why can’t I see all of my screenshots?
Cleanswype can only show items allowed by your Photos permission. Open iOS or iPadOS Settings, select Cleanswype, then Photos to review or change access. If you use Limited Access, choose the additional photos you want Cleanswype to see.
Does swiping delete a photo immediately?
No. A delete decision is staged in Pending Deletes. The photo remains in your library until you review the list, continue with deletion, and approve Apple’s system confirmation.
Can I recover a deleted screenshot?
Open the Recently Deleted album in Apple Photos. Apple normally keeps deleted items there temporarily unless you remove them permanently. Recovery availability and timing are controlled by Photos.
Does Cleanswype upload or analyze my photos online?
No. Optional text recognition, barcode detection, classification, and similarity analysis run on your device. Cleanswype does not upload your screenshot content or analysis results.
Why is an iCloud photo slow to appear?
If the full image is stored in iCloud, Apple’s Photos framework may need a network connection to download it to your device. Check your connection and try again.
How do I restore Cleanswype Pro?
Make sure you are signed in with the Apple Account used for the original purchase, then open Cleanswype Settings and select Restore Purchases. Cleanswype Pro is a one-time App Store purchase, not a subscription.
How do I reset local analysis or history?
Open Cleanswype Settings and use the available reset or clear controls for the data you want to remove. Removing the app also removes its local app container, subject to Apple’s device and backup behavior.
